iTunes Catalog 1.8
The next logical (& necessary) step in my iTunes revolution. I think this amazingly cost-effective software ($14.99) allows you to import artwork, lyrics, & other stuff into your "get info" section, but I haven't tried it out yet (they have a demo version that will work for all artists with names A-E).
For those of us squarely among the iTunes faithful, this is potentialy a great find...

I've been putting at least the cover art into mine since the beginning, though I'm still missing some. I just got to Amazon - you can bring up a pretty large version of the album cover - then just cut and paste.
Haven't done the lyrics thing though.
It amazes me that they haven't included all this stuff in CDDB (Gracenote). Seems like a no brainer if that's what your business is about.
I'll check out the program though.
That program is only available for Mac OS X.
Sonofabitch!
Oh, well, it took me about 30 seconds of searching to find. There's gotta be something out there for PCs.
If you ask me, anyone that buys one of the $9.99 "albums" off of iTunes should get all the extras for absolute free as part of the download. Seems like a ripoff, otherwise. Why not just buy the CD?

I agree. Twice.
ITunes should come with all the liner note materials.
The other possibility would be for artists to proveide more of that info on their websites, even if it meant having to provide some sort of proof of purchase. I realize this is asking a lot of small bands and artists, but pulling people to your website seems a very worthwhile trouble to go to.
